撒母耳記上18章20節-19章7節: 講義(龍漢泉弟兄)
掃羅謀害大衛
大衛擊殺了歌利亞，使得非利士人膽戰心驚。以色列人因此乘勝追擊，打了一個大勝仗。當以色列人凱旋歸來的時候，婦女們從以色列各城裏出來，舞蹈唱和，說：「掃羅殺死千千，大衛殺死萬萬。」以至於招來了掃羅的嫉妒和猜忌。雖然以色列人和掃羅的臣僕都很喜歡大衛，掃羅卻千方百計地想要殺害大衛。從本章開始一直到撒母耳記上的結束，就詳細地描述了掃羅對大衛的迫害以及大衛的逃亡。大衛經歷了這一段的逃亡過程，深深地知道神是他的牧人，是他的保護者，因此他寫下了詩篇23篇中膾炙人口的一段話：詩23:4我雖然行過死陰的幽谷，也不怕遭害，因為你與我同在，你的杖，你的竿，都安慰我。
大衛因為敬畏耶和華，連帶著他也尊重耶和華的受膏者。即使當他有能力殺死掃羅的時候，他也不敢下手。正是這種敬畏的心，讓大衛蒙神喜愛，被稱為合他心意的僕人。
I. 大衛娶米甲（18:20-27）
18:20 掃羅的次女米甲愛大衛。有人告訴掃羅，掃羅就喜悅。
18:21 掃羅心裏說：「我將這女兒給大衛，作他的網羅，好藉非利士人的手害他。」所以掃羅對大衛說：「你今日可以第二次作我的女婿。」
18:22 掃羅吩咐臣僕說：「你們暗中對大衛說：『王喜悅你，王的臣僕也都喜愛你，所以你當作王的女婿。』」
18:23 掃羅的臣僕就照這話說給大衛聽。大衛說：「你們以為作王的女婿是一件小事嗎？我是貧窮卑微的人。」
18:24 掃羅的臣僕回奏說，大衛所說的如此如此。
18:25 掃羅說：「你們要對大衛這樣說：『王不要甚麼聘禮，只要一百非利士人的陽皮，好在王的仇敵身上報仇。』」掃羅的意思要使大衛喪在非利士人的手裏。
18:26 掃羅的臣僕將這話告訴大衛，大衛就歡喜作王的女婿。日期還沒有到，
18:27 大衛和跟隨他的人起身前往，殺了二百非利士人，將陽皮滿數交給王，為要作王的女婿。於是掃羅將女兒米甲給大衛為妻。
20『掃羅的次女米甲愛大衛』
這應該就是美女愛英雄吧。當以色列眾婦女舞蹈唱和，說：「掃羅殺死千千，大衛殺死萬萬」的時候，米甲說不定也在其中。米甲的姐姐米拉聖經講的很少。不過從僅有的幾處記載當中可以看出來，米拉也是一個悲劇人物。首先她的婚姻完全是由掃羅做主，隨意將她許配給其他的人，即使跟大衛訂婚了，都可以隨便改嫁給別人。甚至她結婚之後悲劇仍然跟隨著她。她所生的5個兒子，最後也因為掃羅的緣故而被殺。參撒下21:1-9。撒下21:8-9卻把愛雅的女兒利斯巴給掃羅所生的兩個兒子亞摩尼、米非波設，和掃羅女兒米甲的姊姊給米何拉人巴西萊兒子亞得列所生的五個兒子，交在基遍人的手裏。
米甲的遭遇卻好的多。掃羅將她許配給大衛，她後來也成為大衛的妻子。她因為愛大衛的緣故，曾經欺瞞掃羅，拯救大衛脫離他的手。以後大衛跟掃羅決裂，掃羅又將米甲下嫁給
別人，但是最後大衛仍然將米甲迎接了回來。可惜米甲後來因為輕看大衛在神面前所發的熱心，譏諷大衛，以至於最後到死都沒有生養兒女。
『掃羅就喜悅』 不是因為米甲愛大衛，而是因為掃羅又找到一個機會，可以藉非利士人的手害他，難怪他心裡高興。參下節。
21『你今日可以第二次作我的女婿』 For a second time you may become my son-in-law, today. 對於掃羅來說，他對女兒似乎完全是當作工具來使用。從他對大衛的講話當中，我們好像完全看不見他有什麼愧疚之心。
22『掃羅吩咐臣僕說：你們暗中對大衛說…』 不但如此，掃羅還吩咐手下暗中去向大衛遊說。大概這樣子大衛就不會認為他們是受命來勸說，而是自動自發的希望大衛做掃羅的女婿。他們要讓大衛知道，不但掃羅喜悅他，連其他的臣僕也都喜歡他。既然如此，他成為掃羅的女婿似乎也是一件理所當然的事。
23『我是貧窮卑微的人I am a poor man and have no reputation』 大衛家也許不是很富有，只有幾隻羊。（參17:28在曠野的那幾隻羊（few sheep），你交託了誰呢？）因此他可能會擔心付不出聘禮。但大衛此時絕非卑微的人。自從他擊殺了歌利亞之後，就已經成為了以色列人的英雄。以色列眾婦女為他舞蹈唱和，超過掃羅。在18:13-16那邊說：掃羅立大衛為千夫長，他就領兵出入。大衛做事無不精明，耶和華也與他同在。以色列和猶大眾人都愛大衛，因為他領他們出入。因此他自認為卑微只是他的謙遜而已，而且他也從不認為自己比別人高貴。他雖然英勇善戰，內裡卻是一個柔和謙卑的人。很多時候當一個人有了名望地位之後，就開始自高自大，忘了他以前所持有的謙卑的心態。這是我們每個人都需要小心的地方。
25『王不要甚麼聘禮，只要一百非利士人的陽皮』 非利士人和以色列人乃是世仇。事實上，當時非利士人的軍力超過以色列人。不但如此，非利士人當中還有許多的勇士，最有名的當然就是歌利亞了。如果不是大衛挺身而出，單單歌利亞一個人就死死地壓制了以色列人的軍隊。因此非利士人絕對不是弱雞，可以讓以色列人隨意宰殺。相反的如果兩軍彼此衝殺的話，敗北的八成是以色列人。因此掃羅要求大衛收集100個非利士人的陽皮（即殺死100個非利士人），還說『王不要甚麼聘禮』，只是要『在王的仇敵身上報仇』。其實他的存心非常險惡，正如本節後段所說的，要使大衛喪在非利士人的手裏。非利士人屬於未受割禮的外邦人，因此他們的陽皮（包皮）可以作為大衛殺死他們的證據。
26『日期還沒有到before the time had expired』 顯然掃羅還為這件事情設定了一個期限。他既然要害大衛，這個期限就不會太長，不讓大衛有足夠的時間去準備。100個非利士人不算少了，如果沒有充分準備的話，很可能會被敵人反殺。讓我們再一次看見掃羅的險惡用心。當一個人離開神之後，他就被罪綑綁，而且越陷越深，至終完全成為罪的奴僕。
27『殺了二百非利士人』
然而神已經離開了掃羅，與大衛同在，因此掃羅的計謀沒有一次成功。這一次也是一樣。大衛不但在期限之內完成了掃羅的要求，甚至還超額完成，以至於掃羅不得不將女兒米甲給大衛為妻，因為這事還有掃羅其他的臣僕當見證。
試比較米甲和他姐姐米拉的遭遇。掃羅如何對待他的女兒？
掃羅為什麼吩咐臣僕去暗中遊說大衛？他的目的是什麼？
這一次掃羅打算如何陷害大衛？他的險惡之處在哪裡？
大衛真是貧窮卑微的人嗎？他為什麼這麼說？跟掃羅有什麼不同之處？
II.掃羅懼怕大衛（18:28-30）
18:28 掃羅見耶和華與大衛同在，又知道女兒米甲愛大衛，
18:29 就更怕大衛，常作大衛的仇敵。
18:30 每逢非利士軍長出來打仗，大衛比掃羅的臣僕做事精明，因此他的名被人尊重。
28『掃羅見耶和華與大衛同在』
大衛和跟隨他的人在短時間之內殺敗200個非利士人，很明顯是有神的同在。掃羅也看出了這一點。他知道耶和華與大衛同在，他也知道耶和華已經離開了自己，但他仍然不願意悔改歸向神。其實神沒有立刻讓他死亡，就是希望他能夠悔悟。參羅2:4-5還是你藐視他豐富的恩慈、寬容、忍耐，不曉得他的恩慈是領你悔改呢？你竟任着你剛硬不悔改的心，為自己積蓄忿怒，以致神震怒，顯他公義審判的日子來到。但他仍然一意孤行，最後死於非利士人之手，真是一件非常可惜的事情。
29『就更怕大衛，常作大衛的仇敵he remained his enemy the rest of his days』
掃羅為什麼怕大衛？因為他擔心他的王位不保。其實他既然知道耶和華與大衛同在，如果神真的要立大衛作王，不論他如何籌劃都沒有用處。然而他仍然不願意降服在神的旨意之下，想要憑著人的方法除滅大衛，結果當然不會成功。從另外一方面來說，大衛從來就沒有想過要謀奪掃羅的王位。從撒母耳記以後的記載當中我們可以發現，即使當大衛有機會殺死掃羅的時候，他因為敬畏耶和華，不敢伸手謀害神的受膏者。對這樣一位忠心耿耿的臣僕，掃羅竟然不能夠好好的使用他，反而一意孤行，一輩子以他為仇敵，其實是掃羅自己最大的損失。
30『大衛比掃羅的臣僕做事精明David had more success than all the servants of Saul』
本節的意思是說，當非利士人出來與以色列人作戰的時候，只要是大衛領兵出征，他戰勝的次數比其他的軍長次數更多，『因此他的名被人尊重』，因為他可以帶領以色列人戰勝仇敵，就像他當年打敗歌利亞一樣。參18:14大衛做事無不精明，耶和華也與他同在。 David was successful in all his ways, for the LORD was with him. 我們很清楚的看見，大衛能夠成功是因為神與他同在。事實上，大衛不但在以色列被人尊重，甚至連在非利士人和外邦國家當中都享有名聲（參21:10-15）。
掃羅怎麼知道神與大衛同在？他是否知道神已經離開了他？
他為什麼懼怕大衛？他這樣懼怕有根據嗎？他懼怕的結果是什麼？
他有因此而反省覺悟，認罪悔改歸向神麼？神為什麼沒有讓他立刻死亡？
從這件事情上面我們可以學到什麼功課？我是否知道神也是這樣容忍我？
大衛比其他臣僕做事精明在何處？他為什麼能夠比別人精明？
大衛的成功對我有什麼影響？我做事的時候是靠自己還是靠神？
III.約拿單為大衛求情（19:1-7）
19:1 掃羅對他兒子約拿單和眾臣僕說，要殺大衛；掃羅的兒子約拿單卻甚喜愛大衛。
19:2 約拿單告訴大衛說：「我父掃羅想要殺你，所以明日早晨你要小心，到一個僻靜地方藏身。
19:3 我就出到你所藏的田裏，站在我父親旁邊與他談論。我看他情形怎樣，我必告訴你。」
19:4 約拿單向他父親掃羅替大衛說好話，說：「王不可得罪王的僕人大衛；因為他未曾得罪你，他所行的都與你大有益處。
19:5 他拚命殺那非利士人，耶和華為以色列眾人大行拯救；那時你看見，甚是歡喜，現在為何無故要殺大衛，流無辜人的血，自己取罪呢？」
19:6 掃羅聽了約拿單的話，就指着永生的耶和華起誓說：「我必不殺他。」
19:7 約拿單叫大衛來，把這一切事告訴他，帶他去見掃羅。他就仍然侍立在掃羅面前。
1『掃羅對他兒子約拿單和眾臣僕說，要殺大衛』
And Saul spoke to Jonathan his son and to all his servants, that they should kill David. 這是掃羅第4次要殺大衛了，前三次在18章11節，17節，和21節。前幾次掃羅或是自己出手，或是暗中陷害。但這一次不僅僅是告訴他的臣僕自己的心願，事實上他乃是命令他們去殺大衛。但他沒有想到，身邊居然有一個臥底，就是他兒子約拿單。
2-3『明日早晨…到一個僻靜地方藏身…出到你所藏的田裏，站在我父親旁邊與他談論』這裡我們可以看出幾點：首先約拿單叫大衛次日早晨去藏在一塊田野裡面（field）避免掃羅看見，可見掃羅計劃在早晨對大衛動手；其次第二天約拿單和掃羅會到那個地方去。這可能是掃羅事先就計劃好要去的地方，也可能是約拿單建議掃羅到那個地方去。無論如何，他和掃羅要在那邊談論事情。他會在那裡替大衛求情，然後將結果通知大衛。後來在二十章的時候類似的事件又發生了一次，可是那一次大衛就不得不離開掃羅，開始長達數年的逃亡。
4-5『替大衛說好話』
從這兩節經文當中，我們可以看見約拿單是如何替大衛求情。第一，他乃是從道義的觀點出發，勸告掃羅不應當得罪大衛，因為大衛並沒有得罪他。第二，他從實用主義的角度勸告掃羅，因為大衛對他只有好處沒有壞處。他並且舉例說，當時大衛是不顧自己的性命去與歌利亞戰鬥，並且耶和華也藉著大衛使以色列人得勝。第三，他勸告掃羅不要反復無常，因為當時他看見大衛擊殺歌利亞的時候，也是滿心歡喜。現在為什麼要如此的仇視大衛呢？第四，他從審判的角度勸告掃羅，因為他無緣無故地殺害大衛，就是流無辜人的血，必然會遭到神的審判。約拿單在親情與友情的衝突當中，仍然盡力要使雙方和睦，他真是一個使人和睦的人（peacemaker）。
6『掃羅聽了約拿單的話』
約拿單從各個角度來勸告掃羅，替大衛說好話。最後掃羅也被他這番話所打動，就起誓說必不殺害大衛。當然我們知道這只是暫時的，以後掃羅仍然不斷地迫害大衛，以至於大衛不得不到處逃亡。
7『約拿單叫大衛來，把這一切事告訴他』
約拿單與掃羅談話的地方就在大衛藏身的附近，因此當約拿單有機會和掃羅分開的時候，他就可以很容易地與大衛見面。當他將這個好消息告訴大衛以後，就一起去見掃羅，並且大衛繼續服侍掃羅，直到掃羅再一次要殺害大衛。

21 Saul thought, “Let me give her to him, that she may be a snare for him and that the hand of the Philistines may be against him.” Therefore Saul said to David a second time,[a] “You shall now be my son-in-law.”
22 And Saul commanded his servants, “Speak to David in private and say, ‘Behold, the king has delight in you, and all his servants love you. Now then become the king's son-in-law.’”
23 And Saul's servants spoke those words in the ears of David. And David said, “Does it seem to you a little thing to become the king's son-in-law, since I am a poor man and have no reputation?”
24 And the servants of Saul told him, “Thus and so did David speak.”
25 Then Saul said, “Thus shall you say to David, ‘The king desires no bride-price except a hundred foreskins of the Philistines, that he may be avenged of the king's enemies.’” Now Saul thought to make David fall by the hand of the Philistines.
26 And when his servants told David these words, it pleased David well to be the king's son-in-law. Before the time had expired,
27 David arose and went, along with his men, and killed two hundred of the Philistines. And David brought their foreskins, which were given in full number to the king, that he might become the king's son-in-law. And Saul gave him his daughter Michal for a wife.
28 But when Saul saw and knew that the LORD was with David, and that Michal, Saul's daughter, loved him,
29 Saul was even more afraid of David. So Saul was David's enemy continually.
30 Then the commanders of the Philistines came out to battle, and as often as they came out David had more success than all the servants of Saul, so that his name was highly esteemed.

18:20 Now Saul’s daughter Michal was in love with David, and when they told Saul about it, he was pleased.
21 “I will give her to him,” he thought, “so that she may be a snare to him and so that the hand of the Philistines may be against him.” So Saul said to David, “Now you have a second opportunity to become my son-in-law.”
22 Then Saul ordered his attendants: “Speak to David privately and say, ‘Look, the king likes you, and his attendants all love you; now become his son-in-law.’”
23 They repeated these words to David. But David said, “Do you think it is a small matter to become the king’s son-in-law? I’m only a poor man and little known.”
24 When Saul’s servants told him what David had said,
25 Saul replied, “Say to David, ‘The king wants no other price for the bride than a hundred Philistine foreskins, to take revenge on his enemies.’” Saul’s plan was to have David fall by the hands of the Philistines.
26 When the attendants told David these things, he was pleased to become the king’s son-in-law. So before the allotted time elapsed,
27 David took his men with him and went out and killed two hundred Philistines and brought back their foreskins. They counted out the full number to the king so that David might become the king’s son-in-law. Then Saul gave him his daughter Michal in marriage.
28 When Saul realized that the LORD was with David and that his daughter Michal loved David,
29 Saul became still more afraid of him, and he remained his enemy the rest of his days.
30 The Philistine commanders continued to go out to battle, and as often as they did, David met with more success than the rest of Saul’s officers, and his name became well known.
19:1 Saul told his son Jonathan and all the attendants to kill David. But Jonathan had taken a great liking to David
2 and warned him, “My father Saul is looking for a chance to kill you. Be on your guard tomorrow morning; go into hiding and stay there.
3 I will go out and stand with my father in the field where you are. I’ll speak to him about you and will tell you what I find out.”
4 Jonathan spoke well of David to Saul his father and said to him, “Let not the king do wrong to his servant David; he has not wronged you, and what he has done has benefited you greatly.
5 He took his life in his hands when he killed the Philistine. The LORD won a great victory for all Israel, and you saw it and were glad. Why then would you do wrong to an innocent man like David by killing him for no reason?”
6 Saul listened to Jonathan and took this oath: “As surely as the LORD lives, David will not be put to death.”
7 So Jonathan called David and told him the whole conversation. He brought him to Saul, and David was with Saul as before.

6 Saul listened to the voice of Jonathan, and Saul vowed, “As the LORD lives, David shall not be put to death.”
7 Then Jonathan called David, and Jonathan told him all these words. And Jonathan brought David to Saul, and he was in his presence as before.
